Titleist’s tour seeding and validation process continues this week with the introduction of prototype Titleist 818 hybrids on the PGA Tour and European Tour.
Titleist Tour Reps and members of the Titleist Golf Club R&D team are on site at both the John Deere Classic and the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open, where they will spend the next few days fitting players into prototype 818 hybrids, answering their performance questions and gathering their feedback and data.
The seeding and validation process for prototype Titleist 718 irons, which began two weeks ago, also continues at both events.
Product seeding and player validation is a critical step in the go-to-market process for all Titleist equipment. Earning the validation of the game’s best players, as well as dedicated golfers at every level of the game, ensures that new products are faithful to the Titleist brand promise of innovation, performance and quality excellence.
