Designed By Greg Norman the KN Golf Links name has quickly established itself within the market with the 18 hole Links course becoming known as one of Asia’s finest courses, already voted as Asia’s Best New Golf Course at the Asian Golf Awards and by Australian Golf Digest and Golf.com.
Further enhancing the KN Golf Links facilities is the addition of the newly opened 9-hole Oasis course. Opened to the public in April, the Oasis course offers golfers a heaven of tranquillity, harmonized perfectly with the rugged nature of The Links course. Greg Norman has designed a course which will provide golfers with an enjoyable test of golf more likened to that of the traditional courses. Welcoming expansive fairways greet the golfer from the tee and provide the player with large landing areas, the contrast in surrounding landscape from The Links course gives the golfer even more confidence off the tee. This however does not mean that there is not trouble lurking with water featuring on 8 out of the 9 holes, with meandering streams to voluminous lakes.
Arriving on the tee of the Par 5, 3rd hole, you are greeted by your first sight of the interconnecting water network as the stream snakes its way down the left-hand side from the green before splitting the fairway as it cuts across to the right and down towards the tee, as if this par 5 is not daunting enough. The island green 5th hole is simply stunning, although there is considerable playing surface to aim for, the imposing water will surely get the better of many players, before they make their way over the gorgeous Augusta styled bridge to the green and 6th tee. There are simply to many visually satisfying areas that will take your thoughts away from your swing for a moment as you enjoy the garden like surroundings.
With rates available for golfers to enjoy as a stand-alone 9-hole course or as an addition to their round on the impressive Links course, the new Oasis 9 is surely going to get golfing enthusiast’s attention.
